Just bumped into a co-worker (not cow-irker) in the hallway. Brimming with genuine sincerity, she bubbled, "Amy, it's just so good to see you."

She has always been a kind person, but that random statement just blew me away.

Been enjoying the "random" feature of ye olde MP3 player to get me through my workday. I love being able to range from Apocalytptica to Debussy to NIN to TMBG to George Clinton to Voltaire to Skid Row in a matter of minutes. Just got a call from the VP heading up the broadcast studio at work. He heard from our EVP--as a result of my Big Girl Panties conversation a couple weeks ago--and wants to talk to me about more ways they can utilize my voice talent abilities.

They're moving my cubie. Boo. For the most part, I like my neighbors. Especially our reporting/analyst guy and our communications person. They get my stupid movie quotes.
