There's no place like home

I was bored today, and decided to go for a walk. As I was walking around, I realized that my town as a lot of “counterparts” to various locations that are seen in Sandford, so I went home and got my camera.

That was a really awesome photo-tour. Thank you!
I want to come wander around your town now. (I live in the suburbs where thing suck and are decidedly NOT pretty.)

I love the dog on the supermarket sign and the random sea mine. XD

Aw, I used to live in the suburbs, and I don't remember them as ugly. But maybe it's just my childhood memories fooling me.

You can not have a town without a sea mine! I think that's where they grow...

Well, there may be a nice garden here or there, but the architecture is pretty yucky (not to mention from the past 30 years). It's not *ugly*, but it's not pretty either. :\ Oh well. I go into the city every day for school and things look a little better there. Nothing as pretty as your town, though.

Saaaad. I don't think my town has a sea mine. Maybe I should acquire one for them. XD

Oh, belive me when I say; They work like hell to make it look like this. I would not put it past them to actually kill people to make it look this good XD

HAH.

... Oh wait, that's bad. >.>

In all seriousness, a photo tour of my town would go something like "Here's the mall... and some stores. And some more stores. Stores again... and now we're out in the middle of nowhere."

The only remotely interesting thing in the vicinity is the shipyard, and that's... not exactly photogenic. XD

Why are there tank obstacles by your model village?

To protect the models? I didn't even know it was tank obstacles. I just thought it was some kind of art. We have abstract art all over the town, so I never thought about it.

Yeah, I can understand Nicholas. I moved from the big city to this, and I don't want to go back :)

That's lovely. I had no idea Denmark looked so English... well, apart from your beautiful blue skies and clean streets.

Well, we're almost neighbours, and we have very similar ways of thinking, so it's no surprise :)
