[ Hello, fellow awkward turtle! Japan is only here because his little brother works here and he has come to visit him.... but he's just kind of standing around there and looking equally awkward and uncomfortable, hesitating to actually walk up to and talk with him. And unsure how to feel about being hovered about. ]

[Hi Theo! All of the sudden, a little girl appears out of thin air and starts chasing your crow. WHAT DO?]

[sanctusdei]

[...Well that was weird.

The crow squawks and flies away to a tree branch, momentarily startled.]

...the hell?

[hatescats]

[Kikuri freezes in mock shock, staring up at the crow. Then she starts to flail her little arms around, trying to get its attention. BE HER BEST FRIEND CROW. ]

Here!!! Here!!!

[Deimos looks down at her. UNSURE. But he's a brave crow. He chatters at Theo, who answers him back, then to Kikuri.]

Damned if I know. Who are you, kid?

-He's taking a walk... and he's not used to out of control objects hitting his head. He's not used to birds nearly flying into him either. Someone should apologize for that! At the very least, someone could've warned the guy.-

[The crow squawks at Charlie, dips down to pick up the ball, then flies back off to its master, who doesn't seemed to have noticed it hitting someone.]

-That guy looked familiar... and blissfully unaware of the happenings around him. Or so it seemed...-

[Theo picks the ball back up, and this time forces it across the park with a gravity spell. The world near him seems to ripple for a moment as he does that. The bird merrily chases after, and the other animals don't seem be bothered by the effect.

Theo will give a warning after it's far too late, though it didn't come near Charlie this time.]

We don't have anything like this on the Disc. I still think they're rather strange things.

I was never even inside one before I-- Well, I was never inside an operational one until I got here. I managed to teach myself how to drive and fix minor things, though.

[It won't be hard for Theo to notice a guy like Eddie skulking around. He'd visited the bank the other day, and now? A little bit of investigation. What kind of security is already in play without bastards like Grady interfering? Are there any other little secrets that this bank is hiding?]

[He watches Eddie for a bit with an incredulous look, before speaking.]

[He turns to face Theo, bumping up the charisma.]

I was wondering if I might be able to open a new account.

[This'll definitely be to his advantage. He'll have a good idea of how this bank operates, he'll be able to ask Theo plenty of questions, and, with any luck, he'll quickly figure out this place's strengths and weaknesses.]

[Theo shrugs.] If you really want. You're almost as better off to stuff your money in your mattress if you care about it. It's all the same in this place.
