Property Management recommendations

I currently own a 1br condo in Mira Mesa that I'm considering renting out in the near future if I have to relocate due to a job. I was wondering if anyone who owns rental property can recommend a good property management company

Helm Management is pretty good.

a friend of mine in LA rented out his house in Ohio by himself, no problem at all, he got rent checks every month. need tenants? :)

I hope it's that easy but I've heard too many horror stories about non-paying tenants, people who trashed the place, etc. which is why I'm considering getting a property manager to deal with all that.

If I do have to rent it out and I do it myself, I'll be sure to post something on here cuz I'd need to rent it out quick. :)

Don't use CS Property Management.

I can not remember the company I used, I think I must have blocked them from my mind. They charged me 50% of all move in fees (first months rent/deposit) each time they had to find me a renter and they took 20% of the rent every month! Also my ads had to be paid for out of pocket. After about 3 months I decided I could do it myself and it really has not been a problem. They found me crappy tenants who had a pitbull. It was a nightmare!

there is nothing wrong with pit bulls...
majority of pit bulls are the sweetest dogs ever.it the crappy tenants fault and not the dog.

not my choice, my insurance (and most homeowner insurance) have 5 breeds I can not rent to. Pitbulls top the list.
