So I've been reading A Song of Ice and Fire series...

I'm a bit behind, I'm only just finishing A Clash of Kings, and I wouldn't call myself a fan. I'm reading them because I need to read, it's like air, and I have seriously been over the romance section of the bookstore for a while now (not that I wouldn't mind going back if I find something that spoke to me), and the books are written well enough ( ( Read more... )

Write what comes to you. Seriously, write whatever you want, whatever you feel. I will read whatever you write.

And if you ever need to talk to someone about the books, you got my email address. I read them last summer I think it was. Maybe two summers ago?

Speaking of reading (since we have similar tastes), I just finished The Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner. Four books. Amazing writing, twists, and emotional punches. It might be something you might enjoy.

Ah, sweetie, that's so nice of you. I hope you like porn *giggles*, it's what I feel like writing MOST of the time. :) And it's quick and I can say I'm writing and not just WISHING I was writing. :)

It's going to take me a while to get through the whole damn saga, and I'll probably need some light, almost superficial, reading after that, but I know I can come to you for reading recs. I will def be emailing you. Processing GRRM's choices is going to be a group effort for me, so we'll draw Debbie into our web. hehehe

I've got more time to read (and write) these days and I know there are a few of your stories I haven't read and commented on that I need to catch up on! But you know me, whatever you write, I try to be front seat. :)

And yes, let's drag Deb in. I love when we talk books (well talk anything really)

Lurking reader without an LJ here. I actually only just recently got into watching Buffy/Angel (I know! I know! It's like I'm a martian!) and I basically became a Cordelia/Angel fan before I even knew Cordelia/Angel was a thing. I think it's funny that the writers apparently never intended to take them there. I feel like David Boreanaz, at the very least, always sort of played it like Angel had an affection for/attraction to Cordelia. Or maybe he was the one with the affection/attraction and just not that strong an actor there at the beginning....ANYWAY ( ... )

I'm so sorry it took so long to reply to you, I didn't see this right away and when I tried to respond, I was, of course, interrupted. So here's my second attempt. :)

Thanks so much for the words of support, I AM trying to get back into writing and it's very nice knowing someone's out there waiting for it. :)

I also agree about DB. His acting skills weren't the best there in the beginning, and I think he was attracted to CC and very unable to stop it from leaking through to Angel. But as CC would say, his bad acting was our incredible gain. :)
