I aten't dead ... although they say the hours are good

Shit what a month! Have not posted in forever because there is a limit not just to the number of times one can reasonably complain about feeling rotten but there is an even tighter limit as to the number of times one can complain about feeling rotten with the same bloody virus. BB had it, I got it, Mr Wol got it and BB had it again then I got it ( Read more... )

Poor BB. I can't believe they have done that. Ye used to babysit for each other for gods sakes. Mental!!!! Poor little man, it's a little young to be learning about fickle friends.

beggars belief really. They saved our asses during the move when BB had a blue fit over all the furniture being loaded. Mr Wol wonders if maybe there was something about the house that pissed them off - they certainly paid over the odds for it but not by much. I am not sure but basically I think we are just not convenient anymore. Seems to be a pattern with me but it was one I had hoped to have left behind.

Oh you really do need spring. I don't care about my mother's theory that a good cold winter kills all the bugs and makes us healthier - I think it just kills half the population and the rest are just so relieved to feel the sunshine that they think they are healthier than they were before the winter...

And THREE? How did that happen? And poor wee soul - I wonder if Vincent is missing him? I rather hope he whinges on at his mother for BB at ten minute intervals. I hope BB finds a new good friend quickly.

Mercifully he has found a new friend - albeit not one right nextdoor - but he has a strong memory for a little lad. And I know - 3!!!! How on earth did that happen?!

Spring is a wondrous relief. The light and the warmth. This has been the coldest spring on record here though so so much for cold killing the bugs. This morning was the firsat morning in weeks I did not have to de-ice the car before taking DD to school. March! This is what was once sub-tropical West Cork!

I keep hearing this theory about cold killing germs - if that were true why has illness been much worse this fridgid year? I completely agree with your relief at seeing the sun theory. :-)

Pay what you like towards the pressie. I had it in the attic since before we moved in waiting for his birthday.

And yes, was especially glad to see you this week. Yer Wan next door has turned out to be a right wagin and I plan on feeling unreasonably elated every time the Danes do really really badly in sporting events.

*hugs* It's good to "see" you, although I am sorry it's been a rotten month. It seems to be going around.

Rotten-ness seems to abound. I'd check into LJ to comments and find redundancies, break ups, illnesses, depression (and oh boy couldn't we write a book on that?), spats and flames, and unreasonable quantities of torture-fic.

Here's to a sunny and upbeat Easter season! ... Isn't it nuts how early Easter is this year?

Feel free to whine away - you do it very eloquently! Mr Eve and I have been passing the same pneumonia cold back and forth all winter so I know EXACTLY how you feel.

Sorry about your neighbour - 3 is too young for BB to have his first heartbreak. Hope life gets better for you soon.
