Oh thank heavens Mr Wol is home now. They decided they would monitor his thyroid from outpatients and his GP. With luck - and it seems to make sense - the thyroid is just dumping extra hormone into his system as a result of the disturbance of the glands during surgery and it should right itself in time. We have a long list of symptoms to watch out
