An interesting weekend, generally. That is after you exclude the boring and frustrating driving class. It is literally being taught by a committee that is based in Eugene, not PDX and has a different instructor come up each weekend. They apparently don't communicate, so we spent the entire 3 hour class Saturday establishing just where in the text, ( Read more... )

as little evidence as we have for knitting in period (we have some, but not alot) I'm tickled that its getting more mainstream :)

Thank you! It's fun, and I think we'll get better as we practice it.

3 teachers was a good number for that class, everyone was able to get some help. (But the one lady who did everything backwards really could have used a one-on-one session, mainly to discuss if she _wants_ to learn the standard way or not. I'm thinking she doesn't want to change, or else hasn't really thought it out.)

If Continental is the one where you carry the yarn on your left hand, that's me too! Just the way I learned and now I'm so used to it the other way looks weird. *grin*
