This was wonderful! I love the parallel between James and the phoenix, it aroused wonderful imagery as I thought of him in this.

There is also a lot of sadness in this, underlying tones depicting how much he never really deserved a lot of the things that had happened to him throughout the course of the films.

Perfectly okay to be late if you're gonna write something wonderful like this! Beckett makes me want to plaster on a mustache and twirl it -- right from the get-go, he's got his mind wrapped around using Norry to suit his purposes, so devious. You really gotta love to hate him. And oh, James Norrington, what has the world done to you?
