Hello world. I am sat here in Burton after picking up Suzie and Joey from the airport yesterday, drinking tea, watching XF and reading Gillian Anderson's new message to her fans, and I feel at peace for the first time in...months. Since the whole New York and IWTB experience, actually. Suddenly life is all clicking back together. I had a lovely ( Read more... )

I love when that happens. And...G...she has the absolute same effect on me. I read her message Tuesday night...all Wednesday I felt like walking on another sphere. I don't even know how to describe it...it's kind of. Magical?

Unfortunately it only lasted until I took a look at my schedule. Eh.

Can't wait to feel that zen again.

Oooh the book. I still need to buy it.

I loved this entry. ♥

It is magical. I think maybe it is something to do with connections between people and how you feel spiritually drawn to some, and are repelled by others. My spirit is drawn to GA, lol.

So since my spirit is drawn to yours, it makes perfect sense it is also drawn to GA's? ;)

If you want to continue the better reading theme, and the seeing people in London theme, you should totally come to the Annual London Bookswap on 28th Feb.

Mags is coming, so you'll know someone there besides me, and I can vouch for the general loveliness of all attendees. Basically we all just get together and eat cake and bring books we don't want anymore and take books we like the look of. And you don't even need to bring books if you don't want to, because we always end up with loads of leftovers. It's brill.

Oh oh oh oh. Isn't that around Margi's birthday? I am hatching a plan. And I'm really glad that you said about not having to bring many books, because I find it really hard to let go of mine. Will people dissaprove if I bring chick-lit I have aquired and don't really want?

Yes I think it's the weekend before her birthday (and in my previous comment, when I said Mags, I totally meant Margi - I fail at RL names).

Chicklit books are more than welcome! They're a guilty pleasure of more than one of us...

hat Geek Chic book sounds amazing, I'll add it to my wishlist of about 3,000,000 other books. ;)

i'm sorry about the job, but as you say, if you're feeling that ok about it, it probably wasn't the right one for you.

Thank you, although it takes me ages to read something, so you'd probably recieve it back as a 30th birthday present. ;)
