My story “Beside Calais” (or “Poza Calais” in Polish) has been reprinted in the January issue of Nowa Fantastyka.  I’m looking forward to getting my copy, then sitting and looking at it sadly because I can’t read anything in it.

Tangent Online has reviewed my Strange Horizons story, “Beside Calais." Definitely a mixed review - Matthew Nadelhaft said that “the story suffered from wordiness and overwriting,” but that “its plot is rich and wise” and that it’s a “powerful meditation on our domineering and abusive relationship to the natural world.”
