Well, it seems that I may have been spending too much time in the greenhouse. I hadn't realized all the drama my fellow students go through until now. Serves me right for keeping my head in the clouds. My Ol'Gaffer would have a thing or two to say if he knew I was spending too much with plants, he loved plants too but he knew that you needed social

While I don't object to smoking in the least, it's probably not something you should do in the enclosed Common Room... Perhaps outside or by a window somewhere might be best..?

If I am to go outside how am I suppose to enjoy it before heading up to bed? Oh alright, maybe a smoke out by the stars would be more relaxing than in here anyway.

Man, I ain't so sure scoutin' out drama's the best idea for gettin' to know folks. I know we don't get everythin' people say around here but there's gotta be other things to talk about, you know?

I don't like drama too much myself. I like the simple life, the way I grew up. Valuing song, food and good cheer. I was simply stating how much I've missed havin' plants provide most of my company. I didn't know so much went on!

You do got a point. Sometimes I wish I knew a bit more about what was happenin' around here what with Friend Nat and homework takin' up so much of my time. I guess we gotta keep our eyes open a bit more, though I'm hopin' there ain't too much drama goin' on right now.

It's nice to know what is going on but with some stuff, I think I'd rather avoid. Which is why sometimes I like coming back, sitting by the fire and smoking on my pipe.

What were you doing in the greenhouse? I'm surprised I never noticed you there..

Taking care of the plants, learning how to grow some and such. Sometimes I would be in the library researching up on new plants. It is the love my Ol'Gaffer taught me.

Oh, how fun! I love the greenhouses here. I've got a garden of sorts nearby.

Yeah, my Ol'Gaffer, you know, my father. I've been calling him my Ol'Gaffer for as long as I can remember. Taught me that life is best when you have your hands in nice tilled earth.

Why wouldn't we? My Ol'Gaffer and I have been smokin' pipeweed for as long as I can remember...grew it ourselves and now I grow it myself. It's nothin' harmful, my Ol'Gaffer said so, not like that aweful tobacco stuff...

I spend a lot of time in the greenhouse and library. If I'm not there, I'm probably lost in the crowds of people in great hall feasting. A lot of the big folk don't even know I'm here most of the time but that can be good from time to time.

I can see that but at the same time you can't live in a hole. How else are you suppose to enjoy good song and cheer without friends?
