Standing Down?

I feel like some rocky road ice-cream. That's about the only salient thought I've had today, beyond "...man, I'm going on a diet (again) in the new year". lol ( Read more... )

You're not quitting. If I can work on a PhD, and still read the latest novel, be planning an online chat, and moderate... you should be able to cope.

I can't believe you still think it's a question of time and commitments...

Yes yes, I know, but the reason you've not been interested in reading MR has been because of those restrictions on time and commitments... trust me, I get the same -- you just can't ever be bothered reading anything when there's uni work to do.

Sam, you ultimately have to do what is best for you. TP.net would be a lonelier place without you but it is your choice. Perhaps a leave of absence instead? Don't worry about not reading the books, I didn't finish 7 Deadly Wonders and haven't ordered SSS as yet. I don't think that makes me a bad moderator (maybe a tired one). All of the mods have other things going on in their lives besides TP.net - we understand. What ever you choose to do, do it for yourself. By the way, "not" keeping in touch is not an option. Thats what LJ, email, MSN etc is for.

Technically, I've been on an unannounced absence, what with all of my final semester commitments. :-P But it's starting to worry me that most of the mod team haven't read all of MR's books... lol. I'd still keep in touch regardless, don't you worry about that!

Well when you put it like that... :-P Actually, it makes me think about Anna, and wonder what she's doing these days.
