Stop in the name of love!

The really weird thing about college is that there's so much more happening here to write about. In the suburbs the idea is to have something of an extended community. As a result no one has any idea who anyone else is. I'm living in a residential part of Seattle now, but it's still quite obviously city, and therefore much more to interact with ( Read more... )

Hi! Um, I'm rping Jesus at hogwats_hocus (actually, "Josh" from Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood pal) and Aziraphale-mun suggested I contact you since you're God-mun.

Would it be alright if we said Dogma!God was Josh's... parental unit?

Oh, sure! That'd work just fine for me. Is there any canon pertaining to God from Lamb that I should be aware of?

The only things I can think of are that God is referred to as "Father" (perhaps Josh was just confused?), that God didn't talk to Josh until Josh was thirty or so, and that God intended for Josh to die in order to save the world (it made Josh rather upset when he found out).

After Josh died, I believe they were very close. Since there really isn't a lot of information on God in the book, Dogma!God should work well enough. I don't think Dogma discussed Jesus too much (aside from him being black and reaked out by the Metatron), but if it did (I haven't watched it in a while, I'm afraid), is there anything I should alter about Josh?

Oh, sorry, forgot to ask: might it be possible to rp them together? It might be fun, and it'd definitely be cracktastic.

The only information I can think of regarding Jesus in Dogma that you haven't already mentioned (I didn't bring the DVD of it to school, I'm afraid) is that Jesus found out he was supposed to die when he was 12-- though perhaps "freaked out by the Metatron" can cover that well enough. Incongruous with Lamb there, but I think we could probably disregard that part.

Of course! I'd love to RP them together. A parent/son reunion would be wonderfully cracktastic, and tt'll definitely be fun to have another character God can talk directly to. XD

I wish I was in love right now.

It doesn't even have to be with a person. I wish I was in love with a sonnet or a flower or a movie right now, even a notebook or an idea or a pair of good shoes. I feel like I need a little extra love in my life today

Snap. Dunno why. I am in love with the things, but I wouldn't mind having someone I loved. There are people I love like friends, and there are people I love like family, but I want a love of my own. I suspect this is because there's someone on my flist who's in the midst of this amazing story-book romance and he's writing about it and he's an amazing writer and it's making me all wistful.

Oh, and did I mention my period's due? That may have something to do with it....

Well, it's a hell of a lot easier for me to fall in love with a thing than with a person. So far the only person I've fallen in love with has been dead for 400 years, so I'm not very good at it anyway, but I guess I'm pretty guarded against it.

Wistful... mmm. That's the perfect word to describe what I am about it.

Me too. Shall we commiserate?

(And is that a Crowley/Aziraphale icon, or a Remus/Sirius one? I have difficulty figuring it out, sometimes.)

We shall commiserate. *does so*

(It's Remus/Sirius, yay! And it's utterly gorgeous.... I also have a Crowley/Aziriphale one - this one, in fact - but at first I thought it was Remus/Sirius and now I can't see it as anything else.)
