I failed two tests today, am working on a homework assignment I didn't previously know about, and am skipping a class to do it. I now feel guilty and stupid. What a supremely awful day!

This rivals Alexander and the No-Good Very-Bad Day. I shouldn't even have gotten out of bed this morning.

Either that, or I should move to Australia.

Got a 60% on my Latin midterm.

That really put a damper on my afternoon.

The really weird thing about college is that there's so much more happening here to write about. In the suburbs the idea is to have something of an extended community. As a result no one has any idea who anyone else is. I'm living in a residential part of Seattle now, but it's still quite obviously city, and therefore much more to interact with ( Read more... )

I went for a six-mile bike ride yesterday after several months of no exercise but weight-lifting and walking. (I don't run. Running and I have never gotten along.) I'm surprisingly comfortable. I do have a pain in my right ankle, but that's not due to the exercise. That's due to almost getting hit by a car and falling off my bike. No worries, ( Read more... )
