Well, another year gone, and tradition dictates its passing ought to be marked with a drink or three...

Being a boring s.o.d, I'm inclined towards an evening at the Hillsborough, that is unless anyone knows of anything else going on...?

Will update later when I have a proper plan...

Oh, that's fine, E was nagging me that I didn't give people enough notice for stuff like that, so it proves her right at least ;-)

Just glad you didn't slog all the way to the HH for, say, 9.45pm, when we'd left at 9.30 having ascertained there was (a) nobody at the HH and (b) a modest gathering at the Walkley Cottage (which I'm getting really sick of not being able to abbreviate without people getting entirely th wrong idea...)

Anyway, it was a good night; a genteel* few pints, but then we'd driven half the day and weren't really up for heavy-duty carousing ;-)

...

*well, OK, Bez was there, but relatively respectable nonetheless ;-)
