The staff at the Walkley Cottage have asked if we can book space for the December FFS, and possibly order food in advance as they anticipate being very busy. Could you please comment here (or on my fb where I've also posted) so we can book for the right number?

We just phoned the Walkley Cottage to book a table for Sunday and we have some very sad news. The landlady informed us that they are closing. They are open on Sunday for drinks only and then that will be it. Apparently they only announced yesterday, which is why we hadn't heard.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I was in Hillsborough this morning and I noticed a sign at Hillsborough corner where Bradfield Road (the one that comes up from Penistone Road) joins Middlewood Road (outside Subway and Legends) stating that the road would be closed from 1st-4th May ( Read more... )
