Who: Cloud Strife and Rokudo Mukuro What: A coincidental meeting in the forest while fighting monsters. When: 23 May Where: Salkia Forest > ? Warning(s): Mukuro Um, besides monster fighting, none at the moment.
Cloud frowned as he moved through the woods, sword in one hand. The monsters in the woods had thankfully reverted back to the way they were before the Heartless and Nobodies started attacking, and thus a lot easier for him to deal with. Normally he would have stuck close to the town for a while after an event like that, but Vincent was missing.
Cissnei had said Vincent was most likely gone from the island, but while he had a feeling what she said was most likely correct, he still wanted to check for himself.
Hearing the loud growl of a monster that Cloud now recognized as the sign of something being attacked, he hurried his steps towards the source of that noise, fingering his lightning materia.
Short tag is short.. :| And is also much fail.not_soldierMay 25 2009, 13:35:07 UTC
The closer Cloud to the source of the monster growl he heard earlier, the more apparent and louder the sound of a battle going on Cloud's enhanced hearing could pick up.
Should he help or should he just watch? The fighter doesn't seem to be doing TOO badly against the monster, though the other didn't seem to be winning either. Stepping behind one of the larger trees, he peeked out carefully at the battle site.
At that moment, a bright light flashed in front of him from the box in Mukuro's hands, and Cloud's free hand automatically went up to shield his eyes from the sudden glare. With enhanced hearing also came enhanced sight, and his eyes have always been extra sensitive to sudden bright lights ever since the first drops of mako were injected into his body.
Not at all, bb. I'm just tl;dr. orz;;percorsiMay 25 2009, 16:56:41 UTC
And in what seemed like an instant, the monster was no more.
Mismatched eyes stared at the spot where the creature had been previously standing as he put away his box weapon. It was obvious that the power of the box was a lot more formidable than Mukuro had imagined if the monster had been taken down so quickly. But that didn't mean he could use it so leisurely. The dying will flame was a part of his life force and that was something he didn't want to expend needlessly.
However, the little experiment was a success, albeit a small one. It was disappointing that it hadn't lasted as long as he would have liked, but that was something he couldn't change. Plus, he was getting annoyed at the thing anyway.
But now he had other things to deal with, namely the bloody wounds on his person.
