Who: Kikyou and Open What: Kikyou's never been in such a modern place before. Time to learn more about it. When: All day today. Where: Around the island. Warnings: None that I can think of!
Atem had chosen to be in his own mind for today. He had a lot to think about. Kaiba's coming and going (to the mountains no less), an upcoming Duel after that was finished, getting punished for the rest of his time here, and of course the most important... revealing his relationship with Kaiba to Yuugi. All of these things were slightly daunting. He wasn't sure what to do about any of them
( ... )
Kikyou had stopped, standing at a cross walk, wondering exactly when should she cross. The lights were a bit confusing, and the noises.. and what kind of carriages were those, anyway? Everything about this place was loud, obnoxious, and disorienting.
And then she was bumped into. Her body moved forward slightly, shifting her stance but catching herself. Yes, good thing it was a gentle collision..
Still, she turned to glance at him over her shoulder. The apologetic man, who hung on a sound that made her almost laugh. Almost. He must have known Kagome? Regardless, she'd look passed it.. There was something about him, she could sense it, it even went beyond his hair..
"It's alright." She straightened, though gave him a nod in return.
Oh! She talked. So no. No statue. That voice was slightly familiar, however. Hadn't he heard it before? ...Right. On the LP NETWORK a day back. That outfit. Her voice- talking about demons? And the way she looked. Oh.
...Oh.
This was the woman Kagome agonized over so often. He'd probably already given himself away with such a quick assumption. "You must be new here." So instead he'd give another, but one that was true, at least.
"I am." Her words were soft and abrupt, but far from terse. There was an air of neutrality about her; her expression was neither happy nor sad, and her voice betrayed nothing. She stood straight, stature one of pride, but no. Even if she was made from clay.. she was far from a statue.
A typical one, anyway.
"You've been here a while?" Not a direct statement but an attempt at idle chatter, since he extended the offer. The crosswalk no longer held interest for her.
Sesshomaru was traveling the island, doing the same thing as Kikyou. he was looking for a way off this island. He couldn't sense the one responsible for his being here. However, he did sense someone else. Kikyou.
Talk about sensing a strong demonic presence. But it was familiar, thankfully, and wasn't one she was wholly interested in locating. Still, paths did tend to cross frequently.
She turned to him, expression and stance neutral.
"Sesshoumaru."
Her head tipped in a brief nod of acknowledgment, but nothing more.

She can play the whole factual game, as well.
