He paused and looked at her. What did she mean by 'little bird'? While Preston wasn't exactly a giant, he wasn't very small either. Staring at the blond woman for a few seconds he deemed her not much of a threat to him from her outside appearance. But that didn't mean that he wasn't on his guard, after all you never judge a book by it's cover. "Pardon? What are you talking about?"

She watched as the man paused. He was tall so he dwarfed her in size but she was not one to be intimidated. She smirked at him slightly "I should have known that it would be too hard for simpleton to understand. Who are you?" Her lithe body was calm but she was always alert.

He didn't say anything about the simpleton line, thinking that she seemed to be the snobish type. Instead he stared down at the woman and spoke in a slightly professional voice. "I'm Private Preston Marlowe. And who are you?"

She realized that he was stupid and not worth her time but she still might be able to gain some information from. She stared at him and at his name, she smirked. He's only a private...he is not worth her time.

"I am Larxene"

Namine continued moving through the trees, glancing back over her shoulder every now and then. She didn't know that Larxene happened to be lurking by though, so she was at ease for the moment.

Of course, her foot came down on a tree branch, making it snap rather loudly which made her look down in half curiousity. She blinked rapidly then shifted to halfway hide against one of the trees when she heard that voice.

The blonde girl bit into her bottom lip, eyes shutting tightly as she forced herself to keep silent, hoping that the woman would not pay the snapping twig much mind.

After she realized she could not see anyone. She smirked slightly but as she went turn around, she happen to see the young blond girl. From her angle, she could see that the young woman was trying to hide. She escaped into a her Organization void. She realized from trying it, that she could use it around the Island but she could not escape it.

She came up behind Namine and whipped the girl around. "Are you trying to hide from me little Namine?"

She wasn't as dumb as Larxene may have thought. Once the other woman wasn't within sight, she pushed away from the tree and went to make a dash for it, only to be spun around to face her.

Namine tensed a bit, tucking her hands behind her back and moving backwards. ``... n-no, I'm not. I was just checking out the forest.``

Larxene smirked as she realized that Namine tried to make a dash for it. So her witch wasn't as stupid as she thought.

She watched the young girl move backwards and instead of chasing her, she decided to rest her hip against the tree next to her. She was faster then Namine so if she tried to run, she could easily catch her. Besides it was nice to watch her squirm.

"...you were always a horrible liar....Are you afraid of me little Namine?"
