Who: Seto Kaiba and OPEN
Where: Carpal Tunnel Arcade, of course
When: Saturday, May 15th, all day
What: He's buried himself in the arcade office, trying to fix his LP for the second day in a row, since he was shut out of the NETWORK for not putting up any spam. Hasn't taken a break since it locked up. WHO WANTS TO POKE HIM?

Atem may or may not have been a bit worried. Bakura was back on the island, though he seemed to know nothing about his previous venture here. That was a blessing in and of itself. But after that Kaiba had gone mysteriously quiet. The fact that Atem had quite possibly pushed the spirit into rage hadn't escaped him, either.

Though Kaiba didn't exactly post to the NETWORK every day, Atem knew he would have had something to say to his recent warning. Kaiba never could keep his mouth shut.

So, during his lunch break, he decided to skip that and just head towards the arcade. He let himself in the front door, but was a little wary of his waltzing right into the brunet's office. "Kaiba?" He paused at the counter and called loudly.

The sound of someone calling his name was like a needle piercing into aching head. The brunet growled and ran a hand through his bangs, wanting to ignore it, but slowly realizing it would probably make things much worse if he did. Atem was always a persistent one, even if they were..treading on thin ice due to past events.

"Here," Kaiba called back, his voice raspier than he expected. Had it been that long since he had gotten more coffee or water? A quick check of the time confirmed it, and drew him into a blacker mood. It was time wasted. He hadn't gotten anywhere on fixing the problem.

The sound of the voice worried him a little. It wasn't unusual for Kaiba to go days without taking care of himself, but that didn't make it okay. But he was at least glad Kaiba wasn't ignoring him or telling him to go away- ...the latter of which would probably happen a few lines into their conversation, though.

He stepped passed the counter and opened the door a bit more, just standing in the doorway as he glanced around. Oh, yes. Seto was having a bad day.

"...can I get you anything?" Maybe something to eat, something to drink. Something to help him calm down a little, maybe. Just something.

Kaiba waved it off and went back to pulling chips from his spare parts drawer and matching them with the L337POD. "Don't bother. What do you want?" he asked bluntly, not even looking up. A little sharp, perhaps, but he saw no reason to hold his tongue while he was frustrated. It had been Atem's choice to come in here, after all.

Surprisingly, Neji hadn't come into the arcade lately, aside from coming in for work. He had wanted to check out a few things at the place and since he had nothing better to do, he figured that today would be a free day. At least, for the moment because he never knew what or who would pop up on his LP next.

He stepped into the arcade, blinking then glancing around the area curiously. It didn't seem like Kaiba was nearby, but as he stepped further in and examined a bit more, he noticed the barely cracked door and assured himself that the CEO was in there.

Though, as he approached the door, the ninja thought twice about just opening it. Instead, he lifted a hand and knocked a few times before asking. ``Kaiba?``

The CEO's head jerked up at the knock and his mouth curved into a scowl. Nobody else was supposed to be working today, and most of the customers had the sense to stay away. Nobody should have been knocking on the office door.

"What do you want?" he snapped, trying to convince the other to leave. He needed all his concentration to rebuild the L337POD from the ground up.

Hearing the other male snap a reply, Neji rolled his eyes and shifted slightly, pushing the door open a bit more and leaning against the door frame. Someone was obviously in a bad mood today.

``I was curious as to where you were and when I came to find you ... `` he trailed off, leaning a bit more to the side to see the LP. ``Problems?``

"I did not know you had a need to find me, Ninja," Kaiba said dryly, finally identifying the voice as the door opened. Neji's presence was a mystery to him. He wasn't supposed to work today, Kaiba knew that. Why else would he be there?

"Hn. This is a problem that has little to do with you," he replied. "but if you are going to be here and need something to do, I'd be happy to provide one." An excellent tactic he had used before to get rid of nosy employees.

Although it was killing her, she realized that she had to go and apologize to Kaiba. Even though he would laugh in her face and call her a mutt, she felt as though it was something she had to do. Sighing softly, she walked into the arcade to where she thought he worked.

As she walked through the empty arcade, she came to a door. The shattered remains of the coffee cups caused her to pause. Maybe right now was the best time to disturb him. As she turned away, she happened to see a part of the LP in the remains of the coffee cups.

Picking it up carefully, she knocked on the door and hoped that Kaiba was not going to kill her.

The sound drew a growl from the brunet hunched over the desk. "The arcade better be on fire," he warned, not really interested in seeing anyone today. The LP was causing enough problems. He didn't need anyone else's piled on on top of it.

She heard the growl and hesitated. She opened the door slightly to see the brunet staring at something intently. She was not sure if she should say anything or just leave. However, Kagome was not a coward and although she felt timid, she was not about to run. Although she had never seen Kaiba look as intimidated as he did.

"I..." Come on Kagome you know this guy! There's no reason to be afraid of him! She thought to herself Do it girl!After taking a huge breath, she rushed with her explanation for while she was there. "I'm sorry I don't mean to bother you but I wanted to apologize for going against your wishes and for making you cause my LP to erase everything. I realize that what I did was childish and that I deserved what you did ( ... )

Kaiba didn't even look up as the girl rushed through her apology, though he did roll his eyes. She was assuming he cared? He had already done as he had said he would do, and the incident was far out of his mind. He had more important things to worry about.

When she mentioned the piece, he waved it off, still not bothering to look at her. "Hn. I have newer parts like that already. Do with it as you will," he said absently. "You can go now."
