Cissnei was out on this afternoon taking one last look around Salkia, using the walk around the town to clear her head and focus on what she wanted to tell people a little later that day. It was a big discovery, that was for certain, and though she had always been rather concise about getting to the point, putting so much information into one place was going to be a hard thing to do.

It really was a good thing, she thought with an amused smile, that she had gotten Kaiba to agree to lay down the groundwork. She would much rather let him do the revealing and she field the questions. Positions of power, at least ones visible to the public, were not ones she wanted.

With her umbrella held in one hand and the other very nearly going to her pocket, the woman made her way down the Main Street of Salkia, catching sight of the little hacker running about in the downpour. Well well...

"Ed." Cissnei called out to the girl, though most of her voice was lost to the rain.

It had been long time since there had been this much rain, or really any rain that Edward had been around. The child was splashing through puddlesand laughing, the other red head's call barely heard as Ed stopped in place looking around, "Ed's name on the rain?"

Finally the energetic child saw the woman standing under the umbrella, "Cissy~". Ed was excited to see the other after so long, in a way Cissnei had come to in a way take Faye's place as the woman that Ed looked up to. Though Cissy hadn't let her paint her toe nails yet like Faye Faye did. Despite being soaked Ed still ran over and went for a big hug, not really thinking anything about it.

Ack, hugs. Cissnei didn't do so well with the contact...not to mention the girl is soaking wet, but she knows that Ed does not mean any harm. The Ex Turk exhaled a sigh, careful not to roll her eyes, though she had the urge to.

"What are you doing out here?" Knowing the other, it was likely just because she wanted to be. She was a little strange like that, but Ed wasn't bad at all by any means.

Edward actually managed to stay under the umbrella once she let go of Cissnei, "Ed was getting something to eat. Ed's been very busy." The girl was already thin and about as light as you could get iwthout it being entirely unhealthy, though the way that she ate at times someone would wonder how until they saw how often she was running around and bouncing all over the place. "What's Cissy doing?"

Preston was walking around the town streets, getting pretty soaked from the rain. Not that he cared much, as he was to busy focusing on his job, and his uniform helped keep him dry. Patrolling Salkia as it's police officer, not that anything really interesting was happening so far. All that was really out of the ordinary was all of the rain.

Thinking back to his conversation with Alice, Preston really hoped that there wasn't going to be a monsoon. Otherwise he was probably going to swamped with work.

Looking up he noticed a familiar looking child. "Hey Ed! What are you doing outside without an umbrella or coat?"

Ed had slowed down to a stroll despite the fact that the rain was still coming down rather hard. But the child was already soaked and was starting to get a little tired from still having not eaten when Preston stopped her as she blinked, "Umbrella or Coat?" Honestly Ed had never worried about Umbrellas and didn't even own a coat let alone would wear anything other than the biking shorts and sleeveless-t she was always in. Curious though the child meandered over to where the soldier was standing, standing up on her tippy toes and looking at him. "What's Preston-person doing?"

"My job." He replied before continuing, "Come on we need to get you inside and dry off." Honestly, he was really hoping that Ed would at least put on a coat. Doesn't she know that a person can get sick if they stand out in the rain without the proper clothing? Not that Preston should be talking, but still, she's just a kid.

"Preston-person found a job?" Of course Ed had never really been raised by anyone, left in a day care at the age of four, wandering into an orpahage for some time, but most of her life Ed had been on her own. Wandering from place to place. "What's Preston-person do? Hunt down bad guys~ Can Edward help!"
