The Luna Divine was seated quietly in one of the large chairs in the main room, reading a provided tome. It was something to pass time, he supposed, although he found nothing very useful in the pages.

But it gave him time to think, which was invaluable. To think, plot, scheme and twist about and all the while pay close attention to the broadcastings over this ridiculous "pod" thing. Infernal noisemaker.

Yet an eyebrow arched when he heard the knock at the door. Axel, knocking? Surely not. Saix closed the book and called, "Enter," knowing well indeed who stood upon the other side.

Following the order, Axel walked in. He laughed a little, closing the door behind him. "Yeah, well, this is different." He rubbed the back of his neck. Surprisingly, it wasnt terrible to see Saix again, but he knew that none of this was going to be easy.

"Did you honestly expect open arms and a flower arrangement, Axel?" Saix remarked dryly, not getting up from his seat. Although seemingly at ease, the Diviner was deceptively casual. And the Lunatic was leaning on the back of his chair, as always close at hand.

Axel arched an eyebrow. "As a matter of fact, maybe I did." he chuckled slightly, shaking his head as he sat down nearby. "So a talk's in order. You looking forward to it as much as I am?"

"What a disappointment," he noted with a small snort. Saix quirked his own eyebrow as Axel oh-so-cheekily made himself right at home, but remarked not upon it. Such trivialities compared to most.

"Oh, veritably writhing in anticipation," he snapped, wishing he'd get on with it.

"I can tell." Axel seemed to enjoy dragging this on... mostly because he had a feeling of how much it bothered his former friend. He waved a hand into the air. "Alright, well, before we get started, I take Vexen's been complaining to you about how butt hurt he is about me disposing of him?"

He blinked a moment before laughing. "Really? I was sure he would've come to mama Saix to complain about how bad that mean 'ol Eight was." He grinned, shaking his head. "Either way, you and I both know it doesn't matter." Axel gave Saix a nod. "What matters is that we talk business. What's our mission here, Seven? If anyone would know, I'd assume it'd be you."

"I didn't give him a reason to, Axel." Saix crossed his arms. "Vexen can work out his own peevishness without my help."

He quirked his own eyebrow at the Flame's query. "Mission? I was on my way to engage the KeyBearer when I arrived here. I'm assuming it to be the same, but it seems the brat isn't even on this island."

Axel smirked lightly. "Yeah, well, he's sure to show up eventually. I've seen him show up and disappear at least two times already."
