Who Axel and Saix When Now What Who knows what Axel is up to, though it does seem he wants to fix whats been broken Where Saix's place, J12 Warnings None that I can think of
Axel leaned back in his seat, raising an eyebrow. "You're going to do it even if its not effective here? Sounds like a good waste of a Keyblade wielder to me."
"Sure, you want his heart. But are hearts here any use if we can't even get to Kingdom Hearts?" Axel shrugged his shoulders. As Saix went on, the Flurry couldn't help but grin. "Retribution? Almost sounds like you want payback. Whats that emotion...? Vengeance?" He figured Saix would respond in a way that echoed the well known fact that Nobodies didnt have emotions... that the very thought was ridiculous... and Axel had to laugh a little. "Since you haven't talked to Vexen, I assume you dont know what happened to us here."
Saix's growl was genuine. "Don't patronize me, Axel." He sat back, a snarl curling his lip. "Hardly vengeance. One ill turn deserves another, yes? And I have spoken to Vexen, but unfortunately got the mechanical detail."
He cocked a sharp eyebrow. "Elaborate. Succinctly."
"I'm not just going to hand over information, Saix. This is Salkia Island, not The World That Never Was. Rules've changed." Axel leaned forward. "You need to give me information I want in exchange."
What was this? Oh, but golden eyes narrowed just the slightest. All it would take would be a quick lunge to have both of his hands wrapped around that insolent neck, claws pressing into skin and shortly thereafter Axel would no doubt beg to tell Xemnas' Second everything and more.
But if Axel wanted to play this little game, so be it. It would be interesting, nonetheless. So, rather than stomp the traitor into the carpet, Saix just twitched a lip and replied, "Oh?"
Though Saix appeared unaffected by his remark, Axel was certain that his former friend would like nothing more than to hurt him just then. The fact that he didnt, well, it just meant that Saix was still somewhat under control. As much as he loathed these conversations with him, a part of the redhead enjoyed their unspoken challenges so. "Yeah, and I have a feeling you might know the information I want from you." He rose an eyebrow. "What do you intend to do here, Saix?"
"Why do you need to know, Axel?" Saix returned just as coolly. "My orders stand as they always have, and somehow I don't believe you were privy to those conversations."
"... I want to know... mostly because of what happened to Vexen and myself." Axel leaned back. He wasn't sure if it would've been beneficial to tell Saix what had happened-- that they had received hearts. His mind trailed to Roxas... and the fact that he did not have one of his own yet. Maybe it was worth mentioning.... mostly because Axel would do anything to get his best friend a heart of his own. "We got hearts... and I can't speak for Vexen himself, but I know I didn't steal it from anyone else or collected hearts for it." He glanced at Saix before looking off. "If I didnt need to collect hearts... how did I get one?"

The Diviner crossed his arms. "Besides, retribution for all that work we underwent is payment, as well."
