Who: Aerith and Yamato.
Where: A coffee shop?
When: Mid-Afternoon. (Backdated slightly.)
What: Aerith has never had coffee before and she wants to learn more about Yamato.
Warnings: Mm I can't imagine any aside from Aerith's innocence.

Yamato thought for a moment. "Coffee is... It's a drink, um..." How did one explain coffee? It was so different depending on how you ordered it. "Um... it's caffeinated. You can drink it either hot or cold, and it's usually kind of bitter, but if you don't like it that way you can always add creams, sugars, and flavors to make it more to your tastes." She was quite happy with that answer.

Yamato then decided to ask a question of her own. "So, what's with the basket of flowers?"

So it was a drink. She wondered if it was a strong smelling drink, but she was already asking some pretty odd questions for someone sitting in a coffee shop.

Blushing, she nodded to show she understood, blinking when the focus was diverted to her flowers.

"I used to sell them...where I'm from." she nodded softly, "I was the flower girl of Midgar." she touched the petals lightly, "I think I want to try...hot coffee." she murmured, "I will let you decide what goes in it. I trust you." she smiled.

Yamato nodded, deciding to order coffee before any more conversation went on. She couldn't have them running out of conversation topics before they even ordered.

She flagged a waitress over. "Yeah, I'd like two hot coffees, both with cream and three sugars." She hoped Aerith liked sugar...

Turning away from the retreating waitress, Yamato propped her elbows up on the table, resting her chin on her interlaced fingers. "So tell me about this place you're from. Midgar, was it?"

Aerith smiled at Yamato's choice. That sounded rather good, though she hadn't had much cream or sugar before. This would be a treat from the natural dishes and drinks she generally ate and drank.

"Mm..." she crossed her legs under the table, resting her cheek against one hand, "Midgar is a big, thriving city. Its power is run by a company called ShinRa. They learned how to tap into the planet's energy supply and use it to fuel the homes and buildings in the city." she paused, green eyes downcast, "They were always looking for more power supplies... That's what caused them to eventually hunt me."
