Kouya had her mind on other things, so the oncoming of Yamato wasn't one she expected. Everyone was in a panic. To be expected. But what wasn't expected was the female showing up behind her. She turned instantly, her eyes opening wide.

"Ya--" She couldn't even say the other girl's name.

Kouya hadn't noticed her, but Yamato tried not to be disheartened. Instead, she walked to her partner's side, staring out at the water.

"Escaping the panic, I see," she mused, tone light. Typical Yamato to try and brush off the seriousness of a situation.

"Y-- yeah." Kouya felt that this situation was SO AWKWARD right now. Yamato didn't remember anything and that hurt. But Kouya, couldn't just go back and forget everything that happened... everything that made her the way she was now.

This were different now, and it infuriated Yamato inside to know she couldn't remember how or why or even what she could do to fix it. Without thinking she raised her hand to her chest, fingers resting over where the zero was.

"So, did you use your wish yet?" She wondered what Kouya would wish for, and finding she couldn't say bothered her, perhaps more than it should. It wasn't as if she had even been able to read all Kouya's moves or thoughts before; her partner was far too complex for that - far too far inside her own head. Still, it was another thing to add to the piles of things that were obviously wrong between the two of them.

Maybe she should have wished for her memory back instead.
