RAFT 1 SAILING

You guys are so lucky, Kaiba is in charge. Also, you are tugging the smaller raft until you reach the barrier. Anybody wants to join this crew, get on here.

It would be a chance she would have to take. She wanted to go back home and she knew no wish would fulfill that. Time to take matters into her own hands. The girl dressed herself in her shinigami outfit and headed to the meeting place. Sure she never talked to the male, but hearing his determination to get off the island, well, she didn't want to pass this up. Even though Inoue just arrived, Rukia couldn't' face her and going back home would be the best way to forget what happened between her and Ichigo. It was better for her if she didn't stick around anyway.

"I believe you're the one in charge, correct?" Her exterior looked a bit worn, not having slept.

Absently, Kaiba noted the robots landing nearby, and excused himself from the crowd to go speak with Lelouch and his...er..friend.

"As soon as this is over, you can have my wish," the brunet said when he was within earshot, his trenchcoat catching the air around him. "Though from the sound of it, I'm not sure it will work to unwish something. It sounds like somebody turned themselves into a cat, just going by what they were talking about on the network."

RAFT 2 SAILING

Cissnei's in charge on this one, if she wants it. Stay in sight, and Kaiba will yell at you every so often.

The boy had taken control of Zack on his way over, at least this way he actually had a good reason to go see the barrier attack. It had been a bit of a struggle to control the strong-willed man, but in the end Youji's hold over his name won. Zack could think and talk but his body's control was all Youji's doing.

Now, they were on the second raft. "Better hold on, Zack. It's going to be a bumpy ride, I would think."

Cissnei was surprised to see Zack here and participating in the event, but at the moment she was very focused on keeping order on the the raft for not. Kaiba had done a good job, she had to admit. "It's just a little further." The woman called, looking over her shoulder at the rest of the group. It had been a pretty good turnout, she had to admit.

Zack held onto the raft. He tried fighting it, tried to have control over his body, but nothing nothing would stop him. He glared at the kid on the raft. A kid of all people, controlling him! Arrrgh! As soon as he could move his body he was going to...

...But Cissnei was right here. "Further...right." He frowned.

THE BARRIER

Woo, we're floating! There a big invisible wall right in front, and Kaiba's moved to the smaller raft. Wait for the signal, and fire!

Kaiba hated being so inexact in his measurement, but he had little choice. After they had reached a certain difference, he would skip rocks so often, or just throw them, for the purpose of finding exactly where the barrier was before they slammed into it. When one of the rocks bounced off of what appeared to be thin air, the brunet smirked, and raised his arm to call a halt.

"It's about 15 feet ahead!" He called. Carefully, he pulled out a folded piece of paper and his gun out of his holster. Reading through his scrawled calculations, Kaiba aimed his gun at the predicted point of weakness. He shot twice, relaxing in relief when the bullets shattered against the wall. "That's where I want you to hit," he cried, hoping that the second raft could hear him. "And you all need to fire together, and in as small of an area as possible. On my mark!"

If she could get the timing correct, then this would be a success. At this last words, she already started the incantation.

Carve a twin lotus on a wall of pale blue flames. And await the blazing fires to reach the distant heavens...
