Who: Kaiba Seto, OPEN
What: Anybody want to get off this island? We're breaking the barrier today. Just...ignore the fact that this Kaiba might be a little different from the Kaiba you heard from yesterday.
When: Wednesday, September 30th, probably most of the day
Where: The beach and off the coast.

RAFT 1 SAILING

You guys are so lucky, Kaiba is in charge. Also, you are tugging the smaller raft until you reach the barrier. Anybody wants to join this crew, get on here.

It would be a chance she would have to take. She wanted to go back home and she knew no wish would fulfill that. Time to take matters into her own hands. The girl dressed herself in her shinigami outfit and headed to the meeting place. Sure she never talked to the male, but hearing his determination to get off the island, well, she didn't want to pass this up. Even though Inoue just arrived, Rukia couldn't' face her and going back home would be the best way to forget what happened between her and Ichigo. It was better for her if she didn't stick around anyway.

"I believe you're the one in charge, correct?" Her exterior looked a bit worn, not having slept.

Absently, Kaiba noted the robots landing nearby, and excused himself from the crowd to go speak with Lelouch and his...er..friend.

"As soon as this is over, you can have my wish," the brunet said when he was within earshot, his trenchcoat catching the air around him. "Though from the sound of it, I'm not sure it will work to unwish something. It sounds like somebody turned themselves into a cat, just going by what they were talking about on the network."

Suzaku gave a nod, landing by the Shinkiro and then kneeling so that he could be closer to the ground to talk to Kaiba.

"It is worth a shot. But I will keep up my end of the bargain before we try," Suzaku's voice boomed. Though it was no longer filtered by his mask, his voice still had an unusual altered quality to it that was nearly mechanical. He looked to Lelouch and then to the rafts. This fellow seemed to have thought the attack out very well. Suzaku would have give it his all otherwise Kaiba might just decide to not use his wish at all on him.

Kaiba was observing the proceedings, checking to make sure weight and people were distributed properly between the two rafts. It's not like the sea here was particularly bad, but having people fall into the ocean was not really something he needed right now. Rukia's voice pulled him out of his thoughts.

"I am. Is there something wrong?" he asked, glancing at her. In the back of his mind, the CEO couldn't help but feel like something was off. He...should be doing something else..but he just couldn't pinpoint what.

"I see. That..was the point of talking about it on the NETWORK," Kaiba said with a shrug, before offering his hand. "My name is Kaiba Seto. I appreciate your assistance with this operation.

"I apologize for just never talking to you before hand and showing up like this now." She looked at her his head before taking it. "If there's anything you need me to do, please, let me know." The girl would do anything she could to get off this island, even if it meant risking her life again.

Kaiba shook her hand firmly. "I don't really mind. It's been busy with the events, I know. As long as it gets done, I don't mind who shows up," he said, a bit different from the man who had spoken over the L337POD the day before.

Kaiba raised an eyebrow, but said nothing about the voice crack. It wasn't any of his business what was wrong with her, as long as she could still fight. "At least eight, but one never can tell who will actually arrive," he replied.

Early in the morning, Roy had gone down to the beach to see if he could help. The rafts were ready, and in short order they all were aboard and on their way. He wasn't sure exactly where they were heading, but the young man in charge -- Kaiba, wasn't it? -- seemed pretty smart. Their endeavor definitely had a chance.

As to who, exactly, they were attempting to free themselves from, Roy wasn't clear. It was too late to ask questions, though. All he could do now was keep his sidearm dry inside his uniform and wait to see what happened.
