What: Sasuke's sick and Itachi's gonna take care of him. Guests can make their appearances.

Itachi sat in a chair against the wall, opposite the bed. He watched, a faint frown turning down the corners of his lips. It had taken a struggle; a small struggle to get Sasuke over to his apartment, but one he was here, Itachi was satisfied.

"As I said, perhaps not, but still it is better then Sakura."

That was entirely true. Sakura may mean well, but she was just annoying with her pestering and insistence. Not to mention he just didn't want to deal with the pink haired kunoichi, especially when his head was pounding. He was sick, he didn't want to get worse.

He tried to look over at Itachi, doing what he had done when the other hadn't been at his best as well. It was a comforting gesture. His brother's presence overall was a comfort in itself.

"I just hope she won't come looking for me."

"Try as she might, I will not allow it. The last time she was in my apartment she nearly put a hole in the wall."

He didn't meantion what else had also happened, but it was not something that needed to be shared. Well perhaps at a later time, but not now.

He stood, returning to the kitchen to retrieve the tea he had begun making since they had returned. He poured a cup, grabbed a small pill bottle from the top of the fridge, and returned to his room.

"Acetaminophen," he said, setting both the cup and the bottle on the table next to the bed. "It is supposed to help with fever and whatever aches you may have."

Sasuke glanced over to where the medicine was and frowned. He had taken some medicine before that his roommate had gotten for him, but it had worn off some time ago. The thought that he would have to take medicine to get better didn't sit well with him as he normally just slept the sickness off. Unfortunately, he knew that Itachi wouldn't let him off so easily.

Sitting up with some difficulty, pausing to let the dizziness pass, he moved to take the medicine. Picking up the bottle, he tried to open it, only to scowl in irritation at not being able to.

The younger Uchiha really didn't like this feeling of helplessness.

Deidara looked up at Itachi as he walked into the room. Ahhh... like a moth to the flame. The blond merely leaned back into the couch, taking another sip of tea.

"Good tea yeah." The blue-eyed nin smirked up at Itachi, who stood over, eyes demanding an answer.

Well. Sasuke had made his first mistake: not telling Itachi what had gone on.

SO, he would tell him.

Only... how he saw it.

"Sasuke was over un. But he spent the night with my roommate." Deidara's eyebrows lifted, and he took a seat. "A cute girl yeah named Chrome. Really cute. he spent the whole night there with her. Didn't say a word to me, but... he seems, you know. Busy un."

Itachi sat on the edge of the coffee table facing the blond, his elbows resting against his knees, hands hanging loosely in front of him.

"I see," he paused for a moment. He had spoken to Chrome over the network before. She seemed to be a kind girl, and even hadn't believed Deidara's lies when he had first arrived. Between what he had gathered about her, and knowing his brother, he doubted anything had happened.

"Elaborate, if you would." He wanted more information before he said anything.

"That's all I can say un. I told you. I didn't really see him until he was leaving yeah." Deidara watched Itachi sit on the table in front him.

"It was during that ring incident un. Maybe they were ring partners yeah."

"Hmm." He hummed thoughtfully, bringing up one hand and resting his chin in his palm.

He mulled over it for a few moments, distant eyes sharpening back into focus, looking back up at Deidara.

"I do not think anything would have happened between them, then again, if it did, it is not my business."
