She had actually had most of her things completely packed up, aside from what she would need until leaving. Perched on the edge of her bed, she frowned at the empty feel of the room. She glanced at the computer ( which I totally didn't know she had until just now, kthx. >>; )and frowned. Something told her to check her email. So, she did ( Read more... )

Edward was passing in the hall, a box full of random crap that he was going to dispose of in his arms when he heard the squee. He stopped, frowned at Sakura's door and made an attempt to knock on it which was pretty much just thunking his head against the door. "You okay in there?"

Edward? At this point, I think I feel sorry for you.

Pausing in her moment of squee, Sakura stared at the door when Edward knocked on it with his head, and made a little flailing motion with her arms. In the midst of him thunking his head on the door, she flung it open and nearly pounced on him.

Edward, despite living in his state of denial, is still quite small for his age. Already off-balance from trying to knock on the door with his forehead and not drop the awkward box'o'doom, the addition of Sakura opening the door mid-knock made him start to topple foward.

Then Sakura pounced him and the next thing Edward knew he was lying on his back, in the hallway, with Sakura on top of him.

".....uh. Hi, Sakura."

"They're letting me stay!" she cried again, taking his shoulders and shaking them, seeming to have not noticed that she knocked the poor boy to the ground and was now sitting on him.

Of course, that only lasted a minute and she finally realized that she was sitting on the ground and he was below her. With a sort of startled wail, she clambored off him and sat on her knees beside him instead, offering him a hand to help him sit up. Her other was fisted over her collarbone, and she was grinning so that it looked like her face might split in two.

"...sorry, didn't mean to tackle you..."
