Introduction: Having a crush with a boy won’t make you a gay. That’s when Chinen Yuuri, secretly haves this crush or love for his co-member, Ryutaro Morimoto. Until, Ryutaro appeared to be in love too. And Chinen Yuuri is too hurt to hear who it is.
One-shot
“He is!”, A boy shouted.
“Yuto, stop butting in with his life.” Yamada mumbled while reading a manga.
Yuto pouted.
He looked at Keito.
“Keito, have you noticed Ryutaro? He’s getting all hyped up in the rehearsals and-and! He’s been always smiling! He’s in love!” Yuto stated.
One boy in the corner was listening to music in his IPod.
Seems like he doesn’t care.
As Yuto approached him.
He pulls off his earphones.
“Yuto, I already heard what you’re saying. Don’t repeat it. You’re a nuisance.” the boy said irritated.
“And you! You’re too snobbish these days! Ah! What’s wrong with people! Chii! You don’t even sit at our laps anymore! Perhaps you’re in love too! Are! HAHA! Chii’s in love!” Yuto shouted happily.
Chinen started to blush as Yuto said the word ‘in love’.
Yamada halt from reading and stood from his seat.
“Ah! Yuto! I told you to shut up! I’m reading. Demo~ Seems like what you’re saying are facts.” Yamada butted in.
Yuto nodded at him and smiled.
‘In love? I’m not! Ha-ha~ That would be a lie, right? Well, well, I like HIM. AH! I thought Yamada was the one I like. How come?’ Chinen Yuuri, the boy who suddenly blushed from the word ‘in love’ thought.
“THIS IS TOO INSANE!”, Chinen suddenly shouted as Yamada and Yuto stopped talking.
The three boys including Keito looked at him curiously.
“What’s the matter, Chii?”, Keito asked in English.
“Ah! Nandemonai! I was… I was… I was singing with the song! ~Ah ah! This is too insane!~”, Chinen acted.
Everyone kept quiet for a moment as another boy walked into the room.
Ryutaro Morimoto.
The youngest member of Hey!Say!JUMP. Well, that’s the whole group, but in the room, Hey!Say!7 is together.
As Ryutaro take the scene. He looked at them with his big, shining eyes.
“Why are you all looking at me? Anything wrong?” Ryutaro asked.
“Ne, ne, Ryutaro! Is there someone you like?” Yuto asked while bumping his shoulder with Ryutaro’s.
Ryutaro scratch his head shyly.
And looked down.
“Well, that is… Yes. Yes. I do like someone.” Ryutaro muttered while giving out a small laugh.
“EH! See, see? I told you everyone.” Yuto busted out.
Someone walked in the room again.
“Minna (Everyone)! I’m giving you a list if you have a solo or duet. And you need to work on this one. Ok? We’re going to Osaka.”, the guy reported.
Everyone looked at the guy who entered.
He gave out the papers with a list of names.
Every member has the paper.
“Oh! I have a solo!”, Yuto said in excitement.
“Maa, Yuto. You always have.”, Keito laughed at Yuto’s face.
Yuto scratched the back of his head.
Yamada has a solo too.
Keito, surprisingly have a duet with Daiki.
Ryutaro has a solo dance.
Yuuri has solos. That wouldn’t be surprising.
“Oh.”, Yuuri gave out his breath and met the eyes of the younger boy.
“Chii, we have a DUET?!” Ryutaro exclaimed happily.
Chinen blushed at the smile of the younger boy.
Everyone looked and walked near.
“Really? Wow! That’s good! You’re in the next level, Ryutaro!” Yamada happily congratulated him.
“Don’t you make a mistake Ryutaro.”, Yuto laughed.
“Do your best, Ryutaro!” Keito spoke in English.
Everyone traveled to Osaka.
And has their rooms together.
Tomorrow will be the big rehearsal and the afternoon of that will be their concert.
They would have an overnight for this day.
“Chii, ikou (let’s go)! Let’s eat ice cream later, huh?” Ryutaro told the boy.
“Ah-ha-ha. Sure.” Chinen replied nervously.
They entered the hotel where they are staying and split into two to go to their respective rooms.
Usually, they would go on with Hey!Say!7 and Hey!Say!BEST.
Unfortunately, there would only be 2 beds/room in the hotel they’re going to stay.
The night started out.
The moon and the stars were the ones who were visible in the sky.
Ryutaro and Chinen both took water from the small refrigerator.
As they took their drinks both have touched each others hands.
“Ah! Gomen ne~ (I am sorry~)” Chinen blushed a bit.
“It’s alright.” Ryutaro smiled.
The two walked to their bed with the television open.
As they watched the television.
Silence was the only thing they can hear with each other.
“So, you’re in love?”, Chinen asked without looking at the other boy.
Ryutaro smiled at his self.
“Yeah. I didn’t even know that, it would be possible. That person would always be my enemy. We always fight.” Ryutaro walked to Chinen’s bed and smiled at him, “I’ll sit here, ok?” Ryutaro added.
“Oh… Who is she?” Chinen asked looking at him.
“She? Ah. You might think I’m a gay. He, not she.” Ryutaro giggled.
“Eh? I don’t under--- ” Chinen halt from what he was trying to say as he felt his body was wrapped with another’s body.
Ryutaro rested his head to the older boy’s shoulder.
“You’re too slow with things like this. I thought you’re a genius?” Ryutaro muttered.
Chinen looked at him.
And the hug became more tight.
“I like you, Chii.” Ryutaro whispered.
Chinen’s eyes grew wider as he heard the words.
He can’t talk back, he was shock.
Until…
“I-I… I was trying to tell you the same…” Chinen mumbled.
Ryutaro let go of him.
And his eyes grew wider as well.
“You? You? You? And I?” Ryutaro can’t speak normally as he heard it.
“Stop saying ‘you,you’. Let’s do our best in our duet.” Chinen said.
Ryutaro smiled and break Chinen with his tight and loving hug again.
“Hn. I love you Chii.” Ryutaro once again said.
“I love you too, Ryutaro.” Chinen replied back with his heart and face smiling.
