Chapter Two
Mother Knows Best...
Chinen woke up as he felt the sun crushing into his face.
He yawned as he sat and looked at the time.
“Oh, its morning already.”, he weakly said.
He heard footsteps as towards his room.
Chinen gave another yawn as he saw his mother standing in front of his room.
“You have a phone call from Umika Kawashima. Dear, are you not going with Dine anymore? I like her actually.”, his mother protested.
Chinen looked at her mother curiously.
He knows her mother too much. And he can tell by the way she said that she ‘liked dine’. She was against Umika.
He gave out a long sighed. Realizing what he had done yesterday.
Chinen stood up from his bed and walks toward the bathroom.
“Ma, I just want a peace of mind. Umika’s not my girl. You know who I love.”, Chinen answered back as he got him a tooth paste.
Her mother looked at him smiling. She was too kind to say direct things, so she would do it indirectly. Which Chinen can tell fast.
“I know. You love Dine. Hope you won’t cheat on her.”, his mother answered smiling.
“What are you talking about? You are the one I love, ma. You’re my mother.”, Chinen teased.
“Stop the nonsense, Yuuri. I hate your random jokes. It just doesn’t make us laugh.”, his mother tap his shoulders to make him not feel bad about what she said.
Chinen bowed his head as he sighed and started washing his face.
He, then, brushed his teeth and chose his clothes.
He looked back at the window and started to notice that the sky was all blue.
It was beautiful. As he gaze the blue sky, he saw an image. The image of his true love.
‘Dine Nakamura.’ , he thought.
He paced forwards as he stroll down the stairs.
Chinen tried to put a smile into his face.
As he walked through, the phone rang.
“Moshi, moshi?”, Chinen was near the telephone at the time.
“Anou~ Chinen Yuuri? May I speak with him please?”, a voice from the other line answered with hesitation and shy.
Chinen’s brow meets both end.
“Chinen Yuuri desu. Dare?”, he spoke smoothly.
“Ah! Yokatta! Its Umika! I just thought I would remind you of your date.”, Umika gladly told him.
Chinen’s eyes shrieked in shock.
‘I totally forgot about this! Damn.’ Chinen said agitated to himself.
“Ah-ha-ha. Sure. Sure. 3 PM at the Game Center, right?”, Chinen said as he looked to his mother smiling at him.
The other line dropped it and said ‘see you’ in excitement.
Chinen’s mother smiled at him.
That’s all she would ever do to tease his son. Her smile was sophisticated with meaning.
“That’s Dine Nakamura? You have a date with her?”, she asked.
“No. Umika Kawashima.”, Chinen straight-forwardly said.
Her mother put a sinister face.
And stop chopping the cabbage that she was cutting into pieces.
“Ok.”, as she continued.
“I’m going now!”, Chinen bid goodbye.
Her mother wave goodbye. As she ran into their house and dialed a number on the phone.
“Hai, Dine-chan! Chinen Yuuri no okaasan desu. Hai, hai. They’re having a date at the Game Center. You’re near there right? Yes. Ok. Bye bye. Goodluck, darling”, Mrs. Chinen talked to the other line.
A/N : I was being too excited writing fanfics now a days. :)) I remembered my fics which I writed but then the forum where I posted it was close down without me knowing until I signed on and everything was gone! :| Too sad... Hay...
