mmmm, I like the part about Sanzo's feelings of not loneliness per se, but of the burden of having to rely only on himself, and how tiring that is. And how boring. And all this time he's heading straight towards his monkey. Nice.

Very nice! I really got a sense of his feeling of being completely apart from everyone else.

The emptiness within him sighed, like a weary traveler who sees a lamplit window. Lovely imagery!
