After seeing several prompts that interested me, I finally got around to writing something. Loosely inspired by Whiteash's story Perfect Corners. Best. Pairing. Ever.

Oh, the creation of the Ultimate Weapon of Saiyuki! ^_^ And such a meticulous work of love it is, too. Sanzo, Sanzo, you never fail to crack me up....and the way this was written, the almost reflective quality of the story right up to the point where the Backseat Boys ruin it - lovely. ^_^

"As the voices grew closer and the sounds of chaos more pronounced, Sanzo grinned. Perfect." Best line. ^_^ Definitely.

SEQUEL. *puppy eyes* please? Please please?

Thanks so much. I love that line too, although originally it was only the last 3 words. I added the rest of it later, and now I'm glad I did. ^^
But...sequel? How? It didn't really strike me as something that lent itself to a sequel. But if you give me a good idea, I'll make an attempt at writing it.

Actually, the sequel in my head was either the reaction of the others to the Paper Death O' Doom....or Gojyo trying to compare it to Shakujou and Nyoi-bo, since those two also apparently pull it out their ass... ^_~

I actually wasn't thinking of this as the first appearance of the dreaded fan, more like something he does whenever the old one gets worn out. However, your suggestions are tempting...yes, that could definitely be fun. XD

Thanks, glad you thought it was hilarious. ^^ I was trying to think of something more creative for Goku and Gojyo to be yelling about, but oh well.
