I just witnessed machine gun carrying National Guardsmen break up a brawl at a kickball game (no, my team was not involved in the game or the brawl...except for one teammate who tried to help break it up and got sucker punched).

I wish I was kidding about all of this, but....oy vay.

Late last summer, after turning 29, the prospect of soon hitting the milestone age of 30 made me think about all the things I wanted to do but hadn't done. Upon heading out for lunch today, I noticed I had a flat tire. AAA came and put on the spare and I saw that the flat was caused by a nail.
