my break has been good so far. i just don't want it to end yet and i know it's ending soon. I hate to admit it, but i sometimes miss the way things were. Even though i love going out, being a radio dj and all sorts of other stuff, i miss my old life sometimes. i miss being around my parents and i miss sleeping in my bed every night. i even miss the ( Read more... )

Being that I'm in Southern Virginia on the NC border, I'm a huge Duke fan. Durham isn't that far from me, nor Chapel Hill but UNC sucks. ;) I'm not happy Duke lost. I *heart* Duke. So pooooh on you! If they're not an ACC team (minus Virginia Tech, I'm still pissed they let Virginia Tech join the ACC) I don't care ( ... )

Well, you know I'm from Maryland. I go to Univesity of Maryland and well we have tshirts that say "fuck duke" haha. I am not one for Duke, because they bore me. I mean sure I felt bad for JJ last night. but I felt even worse for Adam Morrison (plays for Congaza) I think it's easy to hate on the team that always wins. I do have respect for the blue devils, but I can't stand them. I used to looove the ACC, but Maryland started to suck really really bad and honestly, it's been overrated for some time. The Big East is overrated at times too. Lately, the best ball playing i've seen has been from the southern teams ( ... )

Pat Beilein is pretty good too. l guess why doesn't start 'coz his Father will be accused of nepotism. l've met them a couple of times and they were always nice to me, however l saw them lose to Pittsburgh at the Big East tournament and they weren't happy campers. Herber and Gansey totally blew me off. J.D-Collins didn't bother talking to anyone and Pittsnogle who normally you can't get to shut up, barely said a word. He just took solace with his wife and son (he's such a cute little Pittsnogle) and barely said a word to any one else. So normally l would've been cheering my ass off for the flying Pittsnogles but l couldn't bring myself to do so last night. Although l did sort of feel bad when that guy from Texas hit that buzzer beater

well, i'll tell you this much... pittsburg v. wvu in basically anything is a huge rivilary. i can understand why they weren't talking and why they were sad. everyone thought that wvu was going to win the big east tournament. but it's awesome you cheered them on though :) i apprecate that. soo many people think wvu are nothing but a bunch of sofa burning hill billies. but honestly, they have a great sports program.

Beilein is good stuff. and you make a great point about the whole neptism thing, which is sad. I'm also all about Herber... i think i spelled his name right. He did some good work last night.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to attent any wvu basketball games this year. I just hope that even though the boys are graduating that next year they'll get some great freshman that might surprise people. I'm just happy that for once in 25 years (a while before i was born) that WVU were able to be in the tournament for two years in a row.

The Big East is N0T overrated, they happen to be the best conference in the country. Better than the All Crappy Conference. And it's not just the fellas, the ladies are exciting too. Rutgers, UConn, DePaul, Notre Dame and St. John's were all highly ranked this year. l was happy that Dork, l mean Duke lost and J.J. Reddick-ulous had his weaknesses exposed last night. l saw them last year @ Madison Square Garden vs. St. John's and earlier this season in a tournament against Memphis and Reddick not only didn't sign autographs, partly 'coz there were a lot of people there, but he had a bunch of handlers escort him to the team bus. l had my marker all ready for him and one of his handlers pushed me aside, so l ''marked'' his suit. So some Duke lacky probably has a big dry cleaning bill ( ... )

i never said that the big east was overrated. a lot of my friends think that. it sucks that they do! i think the ACC is sooo overrated. UCONN does have a great women's team. and of course who was the first team to beat Duke's men team? Georgetown, a big east team! (however, i'm a little sad that they didn't beat UF last night!) but yeah i can't stand Duke, UNC, or NC State. I mean they're good ball clubs, but they bore me ( ... )
