the crab thing was weird. i had my mom check them out and she said to be on the safe side, throw them away. so that's what we did. she agreed that this situation was a tragedy but we had to do it for health reasons.

i'm glad you're enjoying the radio program! if you can actually split the program into two seperate hours, please let me know! my mom wants to hear the shows and i need to burn them to cd. so if you can do that, that would be rad!

and trust me, i will post when i will be on the radio. this past thursday was a bit crazy. like i was asked about 3 hours before i went on air to cover for this person. crazy, right?!? but yes definately when i'm on the air, call in! i need usual suspects! haha.

btw, this afternoon i was going through some cds at my house and i found two cds (they're not labeled but you burned them). i definately know that one is the happy mondays, but i'm not sure if the other one is happy mondays or shaun's other band. you'll have to tell me! haha.

WHAT!!!! N0 SMlTHEREENS?!?!?! They have a plethora of songs that would've complimented your set, both during their hey day and beyond. Check out the CD version of their debut album ''Especially For You''. There is a couple of bonus tracks that weren't on the album when it first came out. There is a song that has become a cult favorite among Smithereens fans called ''White Castle Blues''. Guitarist Jim Babjak wrote that eons ago as a joke and tribute to the days of yore when after all night playing and partying and getting drunk, he and his friends would have a ''night cap'' at the near by White Castle. Now at most Smithereens shows, people request it much to the embarassment of Jim, and now in his older years claims that he regrets writing it. That is until White Castle inducted him into their Hall 0f Fame last year. And one of the perks is getting a plethora of free hamburgers. lt was also featured on the soundtrack to ''Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle''. But it's not in the movie though. :-( So next time you get ( ... )

i love the smithereens. honestly, i forgot to play them. i had them on a cd i was going to spin, but i realized what time it was and had to cut it out. frustrating i know! i grew up on the smithereens, so i do know about nj's secret weapon! muhahahahahah!

i really like the band not just because of their cool alternative sounds, but also because they play rickenbacher guitars! see i'm smart! but yes next time i'm on the air, i will try to get some smithereens on for you!

i haven't listened yet but yay on doing your first show! my brother has a show on thursdays from 4-6 a.m. so i'm pretty sure he doesn't get many call-ins, either. :) let me know if you're going to be on again and i'll try to make a song request!

i had no idea you're brother has a show here! awesome. i almost ended up with a time slot like his. but since i have morning classes, i said "no way!" so for the meantime, i'm a fill-in. hopefully next semester, i'll have my own regular show though! and i'll definately let you know when i'll be on the air next time! this first time was like a last minute out of nowhere type thing, but it was fun!
