Title : (088) choices who: DM word count: ~ 270 disclaimer:StS and its derivative works belong to Mr Kurumada, and whoever he chose to hand it to afterwards. Hail the master of his universe.
... Well damn, now this DM even creepier, if that was possible. I love how it's not the usual "straight-creepiness", but much more subtle, smarter, very fitting for DM. I read it once, found it interesting. Then read it a second time and absolutely loved it. Once you know the whole story, all the wonderful details appear.
He tried to understand, but it was a concept he couldn’t grasp. He was afraid of the things that were there, not of those that populated dreams or nightmares.
*bows* thanks, I try hard on making my Shuras remorseful and faithful to some inexistent truth and my DMs creepy and self-serving. :P
I wonder if DM would have shivers later, every time some fish brushes past him in the water. I, for one, wouldn't want to walk around the water knowing there is a corpse i put in there.
But then, I don't like the ocean. I wholeheartedly share the opinion that it belongs to other creatures, and it creeps me out.
"He was afraid of the things that were there, not of those that populated dreams or nightmares." Oh, how I heart that line. I guess to be the Cancer saint you need that kind of wiring. So you fear what is? Brave girl! I still dont watch terror movies... my imagination gets out of control all too easily ;)
Awww drat, is it No. 88 already? Gotta think up some new list before withdrawal even starts. :-S
'tis said, I don't think Deathmask would have any shivers - combine his, I believe, sufficient knowledge about body decomposition and fear for things that are there only, and you get...well, a person who is not going to be scared of fish just because years ago he fed his buddy to them. (Also, a person you would not like to have for a neighbour).
Your scribblings affect me in odd way, you know. On the one hand, I have this nagging wish to write something just to challenge ya, on the other hand - I know I'm no match anyway, so why bother. *sigh*
Yue pointed a couple of other lists when I'm done with this one, but considering I'll be trying to get a job allof next week, my finishing is still somewhat far away.
I don't think Deathmask would have any shivers I guess he's probably not afraid of a thing in this world, save maybe his being defeated. Quite undignified, being killed by Siryu, also.

I'm sorry my comments are always so short. Would like to point out several things I liked of your recent stories, but words just won't come out. *knocks on head*
One of those few stories in which DM is depicted in all his meanness. Simply wonderful and much more wonderful it was to read it. I like this DM. Really do ^^
