Title: What's in a handshake Characters: Shura, tiny bits of Aiolos Word count: ~ 1700 (sorry..) Warnings: not fun, not fluffy...wouldn't call it angsty either.
Wouldn't it be easier if everybody spoke Spanish? I mean... it didn't take *me* long to learn. And if a stonehead like me can handle it at a young age, it must mean it's really easy! *grin*
Wow, this was really good! I loved the description of the fight, Shura's master strictnes and the way it all was narrated. I could picture everything so well in my mind, it was very effective to help me imagine how painful it was what Shura was going through.
Thank you so much! I wasn't sure if the description wasn't a bit over the top.
About that master... well, the story was written a loooong time ago, so I don't remember what was in my mind when I came up with the sick bastard. But Shura was always so annoyingly blind-loyal that I always thought he had to have had a son-of-a-# as teacher to render him so obedient and sheep-like. (I don't particularly like my fellow countryman and it shows :P)
Excellent! (and apologies for getting to it so late ...)
The scene played itself out so smoothly in my eyes as I read it; always something that I adore. I would say that you have Shura spot-on, as well, even as the young one he is here ^_^

His fellow trainee had lost his tongue before loosing his mind and jumping off the cliff.
Oh my... @_@ I really liked the way you told the story. The details helped me to actually see what was going on. Poor Shura. ^^
