Title : Blood and Fire: Loyalty Binds
Characters : Shura, Kanon
Word count : 2,142
Note : AU, vague angst? Set in "Blood and Fire", a variant universe, and maybe ... oh, six months to a year before the point when the series would start, if this were the canon universe. (I think.)
It's a little hard to explain ... ^_^
(
In another universe, Kanon was meant to stay in the Cape .. )

Don't favor Shiryuu? Hm, seems I may have an ally, although I seem to swing back and forth between "please just die already" and "you were decent once" depending on what portion of the story I'm reading / watching at the time.
(I prefer Blackdragon infinitely more ...)
With any luck Shiryuu will be a little easier to deal with in Blood and Fire. Or at least be a different kind of annoying ^_^

Although there's only one Bronze that really gets under my skin -- and that's Seiya.
*ducks*

And for some reason I never got to comment on this piece of yours. But I'm a faithful member of the community you just created, and it's cuz I'm starting to get addicted to it. :)

Not that it's a bad thing though (yes, I am slightly claustrophobic), as I feel for Kanon's confinement and his being locked away. For some reason, I see his pale blond hair here as a fleeting metaphor to the barely-there light of cosmo that he has in him, and gives him this whole image of a delicate candle, perilously close to being snuffed out.
The contrast with Shura here -- dark and hesitant -- is quite striking. Is he there to bring light back, be a shadow to bring the light forward; or will he eventually -- or perhaps unknowingly -- extinguish the fragile flame?

*gives much hugs!*
(this Kanon would like the smishes, as long as you didn't spook him. poor thing ...)

\o/! That's the sort of imagery I was going for when I wrote it; I'm glad it worked out :3

The next few segments I may need to write, I may need to address Kanon on some level ... so I can't comment too much here for you, alas --
