Not that it's a bad thing though (yes, I am slightly claustrophobic), as I feel for Kanon's confinement and his being locked away. For some reason, I see his pale blond hair here as a fleeting metaphor to the barely-there light of cosmo that he has in him, and gives him this whole image of a delicate candle, perilously close to being snuffed out.
\o/! That's the sort of imagery I was going for when I wrote it; I'm glad it worked out :3
The contrast with Shura here -- dark and hesitant -- is quite striking. Is he there to bring light back, be a shadow to bring the light forward; or will he eventually -- or perhaps unknowingly -- extinguish the fragile flame?
The next few segments I may need to write, I may need to address Kanon on some level ... so I can't comment too much here for you, alas --
