Ooh, I like this! You really developed well this "what-if" scenario. Details like Aiolos getting a new name, acting as Saori's brother and working together with old man Kido are all things I can see happening. My favorite line has to be this one:
it brought him down to Saori’s level and allowed him to kneel before his goddess.
Because it shows how he's Saori's brother but also Athena's Saint. I can imagine him showing his loyalty in such a subtle way.
I'll be looking forward to the rest of the scenes.
When I first wrote that scene, it was just Aiolos getting down on one knee to talk to Saori. When I reread it though, some thing in my mind went 'Hey, Aiolos is kneeling before her, isn't he?' It's a good example of why you should let the characters tell you what to do when writing, instead of the other way around.
