Hello hello! Still on my nostalgia kick. I'm curious to find out roughly when other people entered the fandom, so I made a little poll

It was in 1996. When it first aired in Australia on 'Cheez TV' - I wonder if any of you remember that! =D My favourite was Mars in the dub and it carried over when I saw every single episode in the sub. I've now seen every episode raw including PGSM, specials, musicals and etc. I still love it and the music is still awesome. Especially 'I am Sailor Moon' - I LOVE that song xD
I went from hating Mars in the dub to liking her in the subs. I think it was because I thought she was "SUCH A BITCH" back then or something, but I can't quite remember otherwise why she irked me then.
Eeee, I still need to see the rest of PGSM (only got several episodes in) and I never did see any of the musicals besides some clips ;_; I love the music soooo much even though I haven't seen them but... I WANT TO SEE THEM.
I was thinking about this the other day, I don't remember exactly how I came across it, but it was 6am in the morning, and I was up for something, and on came Sailor Moon. Right after that was Alice in Wonderland (or something like that, don't remember exact title) They showed up to halfway through the Dark Kingdom, I remember them being on a bridge and then voosh.. last episode they showed, next episode was the first one again. Later they showed them again, as the "Lost Episodes" when Toonami was first beginning it's runs I believe, right after school. I had my brother tape (try) them for me when they did a straight run of all the episodes one day, but I think he ran out of room on the tape x_x
Eeee. I started somewhere in the second season, forget which one was the first I caught but it was towards the end, I think, and then followed it back to the beginning.
I never have seen the dub versions of the end of R. :o
Hm. The only remarkable thing about it was the Power of Love they played in the last episode? >_> It's also in the Sailor Moon R movie. I didn't see the dubbed versions until the dvds started coming out, except the movies, which were available in both subs and dubs (Tapes) when they came out.
I think I was in 6th grade, so about 1996. I remember the first episode I saw was when Queen Beryl was trying to figure out who Sailor Moon was and they thought Mina was Sailor Moon because she had one of Serena's hairs on her. I was so confused because I thought maybe that actually was Sailor Moon, although that didn't make sense because wouldn't the girl with the meatball hairdo (as I'd seen in the opening credits) be Sailor Moon?
Before Sept 1995 (SM airing in Japan only along with manga; pre-NA anime release)
A local station picked it up. They played it at 6-6:30AM before school for me. I still have a video of a half-taped episode. I was shocked when the old Sailor Moon hardcover books called it a "new, hit TV show!"
First Two Sailor Moon sites: The Cherry Hill Temple and the Geocities page "Sailor X" which was also the first fanfiction I'd seen...and the first I'd seen to use a wav file and voice the fanfic characters.
The USA showing of Sailor Moon had to be in 1997 - I just can't remember when. I'd never watched it on Cartoon Network :x
I remember not being able to see certain parts of the series, I think it was Sailor Moon S, because they were not licensed. I was downloading them on a 56k - nonstop lollercoaster. When I bought the boxsets in Japanese I felt like my life was complete, sadly enough.
