I luv you for being your weird self. ;-) Yep, takes one weirdo to know another one. ;-)
And your shoelaces are pretty too. ;-)
They might be hiring where my mom works, might want to try and give her a call tomorrow sometime and talk to her about it? It's pretty far from where you live now, but you said you did want to move-right?
I checked out the place where your mom works in July and then they were only hiring for the late shifts that get out at 11pm and 12am. That'd be too late; I wouldn't have any way home. (It's a two hour bus ride both ways with a transfer. I'd miss the last 400 to Richardson by an hour or more.) If I already lived in Irving, it'd be great, but... I'll check them out again to see if they are hiring and hiring for earlier shifts.
You guys worked for Aegis, didn't you? What were they like? They're hiring for "temp to hire" positions and it's another 2 hour bus ride both ways, but they may be hiring for earlier shifts. The second bus doesn't run on the weekends; did they require you to work weekends?

Ah, that is probably the same since you would start out at the bottom there.

The first one I worked on was daytime only with weekends off, but then I moved over to the Blockbuster Rewards program there (it's gone now though from

I'll probably apply where your mom works anyway when I reach a point of desperation (if?) and see if I can sneak in, "Oh, btw, I can only work until..." :P Why do old people on prescriptions need to call that late anyway? Go to bed, old people!
Aegis will be another desperation job not only because they are so far away, but because they are listed as "temp to hire." I need a permanent job at this point, not a temporary one. With what you've told me, they sound more like, "temp to tease you about being fully hired, then lay you off when your campaign ends."
I am fully considering Las Colinas! I found more than one "express" bus to there so my trip is only an hour. That's fast to Irving!
Can you ask your dad for the name and address of that place where he used to work? It's been so long since I applied there that I can't remember exactly where it is. I don't want to wander around Lovers Lane Station like an idiot. :D
I don't know about your shoelaces, but I do ♥ your ideas. I don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't read them all, but Paul/Dean! John and machines! Special Children! Okay, I'm already getting spoilery, but you know what I mean. You have some really great ideas in your stories and they inspire me to work harder to come up with better ideas for my own stories when they start feeling a bit pedestrian.
Also, I admire your fortitude. You are a stalwart in a fandom that's been near dead since it began and yet you persevere *and* keep on encouraging the rest of us to not give up the ghost. I thank you for that. I'd have never taken the plunge into the Miracles fandom if not for you. So thank you. You've made my fannish world a better place and helped me relive the joy of my favorite TV show ever with some really great people because of it.
I'm really glad that you like my ideas and that I've inspired you to join the "Miracles" fanficdom. Sometimes I wonder if I make a contribution to any fandoms at all, so it's good to hear that. (Not trying to be emo there, I just really wonder sometimes.)
My Higher Power has been put on alert about your situation, and I have made my supplications. I never read any fanfic of a 'stranger' before yours, and SJWTBH sucked me in AND it scared me,in that awesome way that you have.I also love and enjoy your sense of humor--you make me laugh often, and that's a gift. Your writing in general impresses me,not only its content--but the fact that you use proper grammar, use words properly and spell them correctly thrills me,and I'm being sincere. As a fellow writer, and us both having this gripe--I know that you can relate to what I'm saying! Your ability to keep on keepin' on and your resourcefulness helps me when I feel low and like giving up. There! Duly complimented!! ==Love==

And thanks for the comments on my writing. ^_^
I'm just going to keep plugging on until there's no more plugging to do. It's all I can do, you know. *HUGS*
