Below the cut are ten stills from ten of my favorite movies. Tell me which movies these pictures are from.
LJ will probably resize these; just click on any pic to see a larger version. Since it doesn't seem like anyone else is going to take a guess at these, I have put up the answers, too. Sorry to anyone who still wanted to play. :)
1.
Silent Hill. Guessed correctly by just_kaye, mylotusflower, and _aiji_. Butch Cybil rocks!!
2.
Home Alone. Guessed correctly by mooserat, mylotusflower, _aiji_, and tvsgrady. This movie reminds me of my childhood Christmases when we'd go over to a relative's house and the place was just full of mischievous children and gorgeous decorations. Of course, we never went up against any burglars, but you catch my drift.
3.
Nobody's Baby. No one got this. just_kaye really tried, but no cigar. mooserat guessed Scream because it's the only Skeet Ulrich movie she knows, lol.
4.
John Carpenter's Vampires: Los Muertos. No one got this one either. Again, just_kaye almost had it. Although some aspects of the movie were sort of meh, I loved Jon Bon Jovi as a cynical vampire hunter.

The Initiation (1984). Guessed correctly by just_kaye. Ah, slasher movies with soap opera backstories... how do I love thee?
6.
Ringu. (English translation would be Ring, as in the Japanese predecessor to The Ring.) Guessed correctly by just_kaye and _aiji_. You see, this guy Ryuji got a really bad haircut and then demanded his wife's purse...
7.
One Missed Call, Japanese version. Nobody got it. You all clearly have better taste in movies than I do. ;) Again, slasher film with a soap backstory. I love the fact that they had a screening in Japan into which only teenage girls would be admitted. XD MARKETING! TARGET AUDIENCE!

The Blob (1988). Nobody got it. Remake of the 1950's blob with superior (and grosser) special effects. Yay, go young Shawnee Smith! I use this picture on one of my icons to illustrate what a Winsister might look like. Haha, sister of Dean and Sam Winchester, chick with a great big gun? Haha, hohoo, heehee? No? :P

Devour. Guessed correctly by just_kaye. I think she got that one because of me babbling about it on the phone, since Jensen is in it. :D Mmm, spaghetti sauce...

The Ring. Guessed correctly by mooserat, just_kaye, mylotusflower, _aiji_, and tvsgrady. Ringu and this remake are currently my favorite movies ever, incase you don't read my journal at all and didn't know that. Dead Katie sings the best of "South Pacific"!
