I truly sympathise because I have had a friend get angry at me for a minor social slight before and then refuse to talk to me. I actually had the person (completely different person than here) then read my LJ, occasionally insult me in comments, and then demand I unfriend her.

What was the point of me telling you that? Just that sometimes people want to be pissy and that trying to apologise and leave communications open doesn't make it any better. I really doubt getting others to interfere will do it any better.

(as a Doctor Who fan, I'd like to note that the Doctor is sometimes childish and arrogant, and more frequently so in some regenerations)
