"No, Skylar, I do not believe that would be an advantage in Miss Lisa's eyes...no, you may not recruit Miss Mia and Miss Emilia..." The gentleman on the cellphone frowns as he realizes he's no longer where he was, "I must let you go for now, Skylar...Do try to refrain from harassing Miss Lisa...I shall see all of you at tonight's study session..." With that, he hangs up on the person he's talking to, and puts his phone away.

The sign gets a raised brow, before the gentleman nods.

"My name is Merlin Percia...I do have a question, as well as an explaination for clarification of the question... I have a friend who has a pair of housemates she lives with. Every weekend, we hold a study group at their house...and the housemate to whom the house belongs to participates in the discussions, often providing insights that the rest of the participants had not thought of."

Merlin adjusts his glasses a bit, before continuing, "She is very intelligent, and highly adaptive to different situations, as she has proven on numerous occasions...But for some reason, she feels she isn't "smart enough" to continue her education...it's not a matter of money, as she's come into a rather large inheritance, and has barely begun to dip into it, and what she has spent the money on has been basic needs, such as food, and paying bills...Ah, but I've digressed..."

A quiet chuckle, followed by, "My question is this...What is the best way to convince someone to do something that will be in their best interests when they do not believe they are cut out for the task?"
