"I've had several of the first two," came a quiet reply from the depths of a couch that sat with its back to Jubilee. "But the only time I've felt the third was when an alien parasite had decided to go for a ride uninvited.
"That's never easy to deal with." She looked down at the sandwich, part of her mind trying to remember what the filling was called as another remembered things that she'd never seen.
Danielle winced in sympathy, then frowned as Birk looked up and birked at her. "What are you talking about? No. She's already had someone messing with her head, just leave her alone."
"Birk was proposing that we have Fred try and fix your memories so that the implanted ones felt distinctly alien and were easier to ignore." Danielle shook her head. "She's a scientist, and a bit too clinically logical at times."
"Charlie?" Jubilee paused for a second. "I assume you ain't talking about Charles Xavier. So you must be refering to that alternate grandson I met once. Named Charlie."
"And he's a telepath... wait, is he a mutant?" Danielle lifted her eyebrows. "Does he live in a city in a valley with massive statues along the sides?"

"Charlie Summers?" asked Danielle, looking at Jubilee.

"I haven't been sleeping well or at my own wits lately."
