Danielle winced and settled back. "Hi. That's Fred. And that..." She nodded in the direction of the dinosaur, who was sitting on her feet. "Is Birk."

Fred looked shy, like a little kid would, but Birk birked softly.

"There is food in my backpack. Veggies and sandwiches." She offered Fred and Birk. "Go ahead and dig them out while I tie this end up."

Birk went right ahead, but Fred paused to get a nod from Danielle before he turned and watched the dinosaur skillfully unzip the bag and then remove the indicated contents. She handed the Wraith a bottle of water, then brought the food to the couch, birking softly to herself as she did.

Fred drank thirstily, then sighed and went back to watching Jubilee and Danielle.

After finishing, Jubilee gave a weak smile. "Well that is all I can do. Just do not move too fast and see a real doctor as soon as you can."

"Sorry I could not heal you all better."

"Thanks, and don't worry about it," said Danielle softly. "I'm used to healing the hard way." Then she winced as Birk stuck a sandwich in her face. "Thank you...."

"Yeah. I can see that." Jubilee sits away from Danielle now that the first aid is done, and starts packing away her unused supplies.

Danielle quietly munched sandwich and watched her, then swallowed and said, "You said someone was messing with your head?"

"Wasn't me." Fred didn't look up from trying to put the lid back on the bottle.
