The vending machine will now get this chance to welcome someone who just stumbled into the Nexus! Namely, someone who's not watching where he's going, as he's kind of stepping backwards while squinting at the Sign and shading his eyes from it - despite the fact that he's already wearing a hat. Yes, it really is that bright and gaudy.

Janga promptly backs straight into the machine, smacking his head on the second button in the process. This is followed by a long, loud string of expletives and a few hefty kicks to the offending hard object.

Someone is not a happy kitty.

((Anything of the Poison-type or immune thereto would be nice! The mun is crossing her fingers for a Zangoose, but whatever you roll will no doubt be just as entertaining. X3 ))

Megan grabs the Pokeball and presses the release switch. After the obligatory flash of red light, a Wurmple appears.

"Wurmple? Wurmple!"

"Hey there little guy." Megan says, leaning down and srutching it's exoskeleton. What? She hangs out with a guy who has the abilities of a spider, this isn't gonna freak her out.

Dib is distracted by the sasquatch perusing a copy of the New Yorker in the bookstore across the way, and accidentally smacks the #2 button on the wrong vending machine.
"Huh? Oh, MAN! That was my last dollar!"
Looks like he's not getting that supercaffinated MegaPoop cola he wanted after all.

"Hey, I wonder if this was the corrosive-goo toy capsule machine I'd heard about around here..." He shakes it near his ear. "...It doesn't sound corrosive..." And with that he wanders off, trying in vain to get the Pokeball open.

Miriam limped up to the machine and looked it over, then stifled a cough. She lifted an eyebrow, her lined face thoughtful as she looked over each button in turn.

"I've got four bloody months...I may as well dare as much as I can while I can. Besides, the only funny magic thing I get to toy about with isn't the least bit funny at all."

May as well go through them in order. She punched #1.
